Something on my mind

Something on my mind

This ramble audio was recorded yesterday, just before I approached the GoneWildAudio’s Backstage community about something that’s long been on my mind. You can read more about in the link provided.

My motivation runs dry when I’m distracted. To the detriment of my sleep and creativity, I care a little too much about things sometimes.

While making audios has brought me a lot of joy, it’s the sense of community and belonging that has kept me going. What I love is people, and making people happy. So to imagine what it would be like if a critical part of a community failed, left me feeling helpless. And I don’t like that feeling. With the help of some friends, I’ve been directing my focus towards action and meaningful change.

At this current time, a lot is up in the air and I am feeling exhausted. I’d like to acknowledge that I’ve been distracted from producing content this month. I apologize for that.

I am taking a mini vacation this weekend. It’ll be my first personal escape since quarantine. When I return from my trip, I will tackle…

  • Monthly Patreon Exclusive: the final Alewdment: Neutral Evil
  • Something for YouTube
  • Anything else that comes to me

Goals I’ve previously mentioned are still on the table, but will likely be post-November.

PS. If you missed it, my pillow fort audios are out.

Jeez this is sure a hard decision I hope you will be well and healthy no matter how you choose. I enjoy your work a lot it is entertaining and relaxing and I appreciate it a lot. I’ve been disappointed a few this year and your wholesome personality and voice is very helpful to flee for a moment from own thoughts.

    You do a great work.
    You have a great personality.
And your positive attitude is just so infective that’s insane.

Thank you for all the work you do, for all the roleplays and for all your shared thoughts. And I’m sorry for the grammar not my first language and 4 am so my mind doesn’t work anymore. You are a great help to, I bet, a lot of people but I would hate to see someone that good hearted exhaust herself for other without thinking of herself or atleast taking breaks from time to time. I’m sure I’m not the only one who wishes your dreams to come true.

Sorry if I double posted I just wanted to say thank you.

Skitty you have nothing to apologize for, Burnout can is very rough and I super hope this little break away from making content will give you some much needed rest and relaxation for you’re mental health.

I absolutely adore a audios you create; especially the wholesome content available on your Youtube’s channel. They have often offered a wonderful escape from the stuff I have been going through amd I usually finish one of your audios feeling happier and more relaxed. (I really like the bakery ones the your voice is so bubbly and sweet it’s put me in great mood) Being able to get lost in your voice and the RP of the audios whenever I need to has helped me a few times with calming down so that I can pivot my thoughts towards something more healthy and constructive.

Im glad you’re thinking about what’s best for you right now. Its something I’ve been struggling with so I know how rough it can be when you feel pressured to fulfill obligations when you are struggling to motivate.

All I can say is thank you very much for being you and bringing the people within your community many hours of joy and entertainment <3

P.S Sorry if the english is bad, still practicing

Thank you for all the hard work you do for us. I’m so grateful that I was able to find a content creator like you and a wonderful community as well. You do so much and you put so much effort into your work and we all appreciate it so much. So please go and enjoy your vacation. We won’t be going anywhere.

Breaks are important and so are you, treat yourself the way you deserve to be treated.

Content creators are some of the unsung heros of our society. Your audios don’t just make me happy, they keep me calm through a very stressful life. At my job I’m a leader and I have a lot of responsibilities but I also have an anxiety disorder and some nights my body literally shakes to the point where I don’t know if I’ll ever stop. You are one of the few people who can calm me down. I think at this point you’ve helped me though at least 10 panic attacks, the death of my dog, accepting that I’m LGBTQ and a few bad break ups. You deserve a break! (lol)

I’m glad you’re taking a brake if you’re not feeling creative, as someone who is currently only watching the free audios (although I’d like to support on patreon) I don’t think you’ve got any obligation at all to post here, it’s a hobby I hope you enjoy your brake
